Brooklyn Warehouse Wedding
Brad + Janelle wanted to have the most out of the box wedding imaginable so I helped them do just that! To start we selected a warehouse venue near the waterfront in Williamsburg , Brooklyn. We started the night off with a pre-ceremony cocktail hour with the couple out and about! They wanted to spend as much time as possible with their guests so they roamed around and welcomed guests. I designed a wonderful lounge area with fantastic vintage furniture by Patina Rentals! Their best friend designed the evenings schedule on a huge chalkboard so guests knew what they were in store for!
The couple wanted to keep the ceremony simple, short and beautiful so we chose a grass wedding aisle surrounded by beautiful vintage farm benches for seating. We draped light bulbs from the back of the venue to the front and they hung all the way down the wall behind the couple. To frame them we added two gorgeous six-foot branch arrangements! Everyone laughed and cried a little when Brad + Janelle declared their love for one another!
After the wonderful ceremony ended we had the second cocktail hour and the supper hall opened! Rather than having a traditional wedding dinner we had two wonderful chefs prepare a variety of the couples favorite foods and had the supper hall open for a two-hour wedding smorgasbord! Guests could relax in the lounge, taste whiskey, strike a pose in the photo booth and sample all the delicious bites! I wanted to bring the outside in so I designed clouds out of lanterns and the lovely Kerry Quade created the pretty floral arrangements that lined the center of vintage farm tables! The night was filled with so much love, fun and dancing!
At the end of the wedding so many guests could not stop saying what a great time they had! Many said it was the best wedding they had ever been to while others said it was so Brad + Janelle! I could not have been happier with how it all turned out and want to wish the couple all the love and happiness in the world!
