501 Union's First Open House!

I am IN LOVE with 501 Union, the nearly completed new event space in Gowanus Brooklyn! From the stunning custom made chandeliers to the fabulous and unique wallpaper that fills each of the different rooms, 501 Union is bound to be one of the most popular event spaces in Brooklyn! (I said it first) The open house last night was an opportunity for newly engaged couples to come in and see the space and meet some pretty fantastic vendors to help plan their big day!

I had SO MUCH FUN last night meeting so many wonderful couples and seeing all of the updates to the space! I designed a simple yet romantic table including a vintage polaroid camera, a vintage jewelry box and tiny vintage vases filled with budding peony. BIG THANKS to Patina Vintage Rentals for lending me their awesome blue typewriter, their vintage suitcase and stack of vintage books!

I wanted to make sure that everyone who stopped by left with a little sweet and adorable goodie bag so I created just that! I used a brown recycled paper bags and stamped each of them (while watching the Bachelorette #TeamBrooks) with the cutest tandem bike, complete with a heart balloon, and added the quote "all you need is love" below it! Inside the bag was some delicious summery salt water taffies and my business card! I had so much fun making them and am so glad that so many people loved them!
