A Summery + Cheerful Welcome Dinner at Brooklyn Grange

The Venue

Amber and Andy kicked off their wedding weekend with a summery and cheerful welcome dinner at Brooklyn Grange! The choice of venue reflected their love for Brooklyn and the outdoors. The rooftop garden at Brooklyn Grange provided the ideal venue for this delightful celebration especially because of Amber’s time volunteering at the garden. As the world's largest rooftop soil farm, it offers stunning views of the city skyline amidst lush greenery. This vibrant venue features a beautifully cultivated rooftop garden, making it an ideal location for Amber and Andy to celebrate nature and their community. With its expansive open-air layout and the venue's commitment to sustainability and local agriculture adds an extra layer of appeal, making any event hosted there not only visually stunning but also environmentally conscious. The Brooklyn Grange welcome dinner at the Brooklyn Navy Yard was a vibrant and memorable event. With its impressive seasonal rooftop garden, the venue offered stunning views of the city skyline and lush greenery, creating a unique and enchanting atmosphere. The Brooklyn Grange provided an exceptional backdrop for this fun occasion, combining urban charm with a touch of rustic elegance.

The Feast

The food at the welcome dinner took center stage, with a giant charcuterie board by Edenapolis for guests to graze on as they enjoyed the view during cocktail hour. The setup featured one long communal table covered with a gingham tablecloth, where guests relished in a traditional seafood boil served on the table’s paper runner. Lobster bibs and cracking tools were provided at each place setting encouraging guests to get messy and have fun. Fresh flowers from the Brooklyn Grange garden were freshly cut and adorned the center of the tables, adding a touch of natural beauty. Specialty cocktails were served in mason jars again giving a touch of rustic charm. The coastal red and blue color scheme reticent of a summer in Cape Cod was striking and playful, perfectly ushering in the wedding weekend and creating a delightful and memorable experience for all.

The Stationary

The stationery and the work of Forteen-Forty acted as a through line throughout the wedding weekend, beautifully capturing the couple's playful and fun-loving nature. Each piece of paper goods was thoughtfully designed to align with the specific events and worked seamlessly with the overall invitation suite. The welcome event invitation was creatively presented as a printed coaster insert for special guests. As guests arrived at Brooklyn Grange, they were greeted by a charming welcome sign adorned with flowers and the brides favorite colors. A fun cloud-adorned seating chart added a bright and cheery accent as guests looked for their seats, perfectly complementing the joyous atmosphere of the celebration!

The Perfect Sunset Dinner

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the Brooklyn Grange venue, Amber, Andy, and their guests were treated to a truly mesmerizing sight. The vibrant hues of the sunset painted the sky in a kaleidoscope of colors, creating a breathtaking backdrop behind the water tower the evening's festivities. As the sky transitioned from shades of golden yellow to soft pastel pinks and oranges, the atmosphere became even more magical, enveloping everyone enjoying their meals. Against this picturesque backdrop, laughter and conversation filled the air, mingling with the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant hum of the city below. It was a moment of pure serenity and joy, one that would be cherished and remembered by all!
