Classic New York City Wedding

This wedding is what I consider to be a classic New York City wedding as it includes sensational skyline views, an iconic venue that transcends time, and a refined design style that translates and stuns from day to night! Liz + Jared wanted nothing more than to celebrate their love for NYC, and each other, with their Rainbow Room wedding. We were thrilled to partner with some of our favorite industry partners to design them a day full of that big city magic! 

For a glamorous event, look no further than the Rainbow Room to host the big day! With its romantic views and touch of sparkle, it was the perfect location for Liz + Jared. And though the day celebrated the quintessential vibes of the city, the couple also wanted their wedding to be a reflection of their love. We did just that by combining more modern touches and their own personal style to the day.

Wedding Details

Fourteen-Forty set the tone for the day with an invitation suite that highlighted the fascination of NYC. A mix of script and block fonts and a color scheme of silvers and grays gave a clean and modern look. While a sketch of the skyline added a classic, charming touch. 

A dark and moody floral scheme, brought to life by Putnam & Putnam, elevated the design and transformed the traditional space. Deep tones of purple, in both floral accents and further stationary choices, popped within a classic palette of green, white and gray. Liz’s bouquet was a stunning yet understated collection of black calla lilies. It was a perfect design choice! 

Acrylic touches brought some modern interest to the couple’s style, while reflecting the play of light on the venue’s hanging crystals. Abundant greenery and florals atop acrylic pieces created a floating chuppah that was pure magic throughout the evening. While an ice bar full of additional florals wowed the guests and provided such a fun element to the day!
