Lori + Mickey are a couple that epitomize classic NYC cool, while simultaneously redefining the title to suit their unique style. Their wedding and all the details involved showed an appreciation for the classic and time-honored looks, with a modern and edgy flair that was all their own. From the clothes they rocked, the ambiance they created, and the food they enjoyed, there was raw edge and warm charm. Characteristics that largely resembled the love of the beautiful couple.

For their big day, Mickey rocked a velvet bow tie and designer loafers, while Lori shined in her white dress and leather jacket. Traditional tastes with a bit of flair! Love it! Inside, their combination of warmth and charm with raw edge suited Houston Hall perfectly. Every corner was filled with character and details as remarkable as the couple. Their guests were greeted at the door with some personal touches, like a huge chalkboard with a personal greeting, and other vintage pieces that added a bit more warmth. We designed every inch of the room and August Sage + Violet did a wonderful job bringing the vision to life, transforming the space with gorgeous blooms and abundant greenery, which hung lavishly from the ceiling. Metallic flair popped here and there, and ornate chandeliers further added a touch of glam to the space. It was a sight to behold and was captured perfectly by photographer Sasithon Photography!

Even their food was curated with their refined tastes in mind. Cocktail hour began with a delicious smorgasbord of lobster rolls, lamb chops, shrimp, and the more casual tastes of sliders, grilled cheese and mini tacos. A perfect variety to please all palettes! Dinner was served and enjoyed family style, and after rockin’ it out on the dance floor it was time to enjoy some more eats! Their simple, all white cake was cut, followed by cookies, brownies, and personal ice cream sundaes provided by Luca & Bosco. And if the guests weren’t full from all of those delicious choices, late night snacks of flatbreads and pretzels topped the night!

It was an incredible night, full of delicious eats, endless happiness and impeccable style. We are thrilled to have enjoyed it all!
