Old World Meets Modern Romance

Dennis and David’s big day was characterized by details that were impactful and moments that were memorable. What more can you ask for? They wanted a celebration to wow their guests and be true to their styles. In order to deliver, we sought out spaces that had both character and impact to create a truly incredible experience.

The ceremony was held at the modern and breathtaking Canoe Studios, an all white venue that allowed the couple, and the impeccable views, to stand out. The whole experience was authentic and spotlighted the couple’s beautiful love and beautiful promises to each other.

As a contrast, their reception venue was rooted in New York’s rich history. Held in the soaring halls of The High Line Hotel, their design was filled with the romantic touches of iconic architecture, stainless windows, and dramatic lighting. The florals that decorated the space were rich and abundant, with wild, overflowing blooms and dramatic centerpieces. Candles created an ambiance that was warm and inviting, while adding to the old world romance of the space.

The food was delicious and the cocktails flowed. And their cake, magnificently realized by Nine Cakes, was incredibly sophisticated with its metallic flourishes and rich texture. This 7-tiered beauty was unlike anything we have ever seen. And delicious as well!

Dennis and David’s gorgeous day was the best of both worlds. Refined and modern, timeless and romantic. The design was authentic and seamless and the whole day suited the couple so perfectly. We were so thankful to have shared in this day, and thankful to Samm Blake who captured all the gorgeous moments beautifully!
