Brooklyn Botanic Garden Wedding
We are thrilled that wedding season, and spring, is in full bloom! And what better way to welcome the warmth and the love than to look back on one of our most floral-filled garden weddings? The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is an idyllic spot for inspiration amongst natural floral beauty, and Amanda and Nick’s gorgeous black-tie affair continues to fill us with warm memories.
The Garden Lawn Ceremony
Every moment of the day found us surrounded by the calming harmony of the gardens. Amanda and Nick were married in an intimate ceremony on the lawn, nestled amongst the trees. It was simply magical. Stunning florals in half arches sprouted from the ground, providing a touch of floral wonder to the gorgeous greenery of the space. After the heartfelt ceremony, guests found themselves enjoying small bites and personalized signature cocktails on the Lily pool Terrace. Strings of bistro lights added ambiance to the picturesque surroundings of the pool and highlighted the architectural beauty of the Palm House.
The Glass Atrium Reception
Dinner and dancing took place within the garden’s picturesque glass-walled atrium, which played into and inspired much of the day’s delicate botanic aesthetic. The florals were an integral part of this organic affair, of course, and Designs by Ahn filled the space with elaborate color and gigantic blooms. Tables were adorned with a vibrant mix of highs and lows, all equally lush and dramatic. The bright colors of the blooms popped against the clean white architectural details within the atrium. And the glow of the tapers as the sun set created a romantic ambiance like no other. Even the cake, deliciously made by Nine Cakes, was adorned with the biggest and most colorful of blooms.
The Botanic Garden Wedding Details
In addition to the natural beauty of the venue and florals, it was the smaller details of the day that brought a special kind of magic. Julia Bez’s artistic talents were on full display with personalized menus, place cards, and table numbers, as well a monogrammed crest designed specifically for the couple. Emerald brush calligraphy adorned the escort cards, which were held down with rose quartz stones, providing the most perfect color pairing of the green with the soft pink while simultaneously opening our hearts to a day all about love. These design details provided the perfect touches to reflect the couple’s appreciation for the little things.
At the end of the night, guests were treated with Milk Bar cake balls and pizza from the couple’s favorite spot. After the late night noshing, the couple was once again surrounded by their closest friends and family for a romantic rose petal send off. It was a perfect end to a classic day spent among the flowers. As always, a huge thanks to Sasithon Photography of The Wedding Artists Co. for artfully capturing the couple’s wondrous love and idyllic atmosphere of the special day!
