Picturesque Perfection in the Hudson Valley

We love when we get the opportunity to work outside of the city, to escape the hustle and bustle and take a breath of fresh air. For Ashleigh and Steve’s big day we traveled to the idyllic Hudson Valley to celebrate at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. And while the distance was not far, it was the perfect escape.

Playing with the botanic feel of the Hudson Valley, a fern motif carried from invite to escort cards. We loved the deep colors of blue and green in the invites, with pops of copper to add elegance. Fourteen-Forty’s creation was perfect to set the tone of Ashleigh and Steve’s big day from the very beginning.

Ashleigh’s lace, off-the-shoulder gown created a bridal look that epitomized soft romance and old-world charm. The couple were all smiles during their first-look photos amidst the fields and bucolic scenery. The two then wed under a lush floral chuppah at the heart of the courtyard, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Pure perfection.

As if the gorgeous grounds weren’t enough, further lushness was created by Saipua, both indoors and out. Greenery, flowers, vines and branches filled the space in a gorgeous way. Patina Rentals provided even more character to the event with their unique vintage lounge decor. The guests were enticed with elegant cuisine during the delicious dinner sourced from the fields of the surrounding Hudson Valley. A dinner at Blue Hill is every foodie’s dream, and they did not disappoint. Lulu Cakes provided decadent desserts and a most beautiful cake to cap off the evening.

The magical experience that was Ashleigh and Steve’s wedding day was both intimate and elegant. They were seeking a day of blissful elegance amidst a background of breathtaking beauty, and we’d say it was that and so much more. Thanks for including us in the magic!
