Bathhouse Studios Wedding
Roxanne + Cameron’s Bathhouse Studios wedding was full of love, joy and the warmth of togetherness. Good food, good music, and inspired design. We were thrilled to join the couple on their planning journey, designing a celebration that felt true to their beautiful love. We started with an eclectic yet harmonious mood board of dynamic design, a combination of interiors, architecture, art and the couple’s own life. From there, we honed in on color, landing on a palette of neutrals in the furnishings and linens with rich jewel tones incorporated into the florals and bridal party style.
Roxanne’s bridal look was completely stunning. She was a masterpiece in her cream gown, a vintage 1970’s gem in which the angel sleeves turned into a stylish cape. She donned baby’s breath in her hair and carried long stemmed calla lilies down the aisle, which completed her inspired look. Cameron's attire was similarly thoughtful in its style. He wore a colorful tweed suit with patterned accessories. Together, they were a memorable image of style and joy. A friend served as their officiant, making those special moments even more personal. Surrounded by family and friends on the gorgeous rooftop at Bathhouse Studios, it was a memorable celebration of their union.
The interior of Bathhouse Studios served as the perfect blank canvas, with just enough warmth and ambiance to add its own character without taking away from the couple’s design goals. A.P. Bio’s mastery of color and innovative floral design brought Roxanne + Cameron’s floral dreams to life. Each arrangement was unique in color and style with a variety of flower types and textures, from classic baby’s breath to the more modish feel of anthurium. With a nod to the familiar corner market flower stand, each floral statement made a bold and beautiful addition to the overall design. Universal Light and Sound hung white and burgundy round lanterns for additional memorable visuals.
The couple worked closely with Fig + Pig to create a menu that was personal and reflective of their taste and family history. Haitian family recipes were incorporated into the cuisine, providing the perfect personal touch to the evening. For dessert, Nine Cakes designed a striking asymmetrical 5-layered cake that suited the unique vibe of the day perfectly. An impressive and realistic bird of paradise flower made of sugar marked the cake as a work of art in itself. There are times when the cake looks almost too beautiful to eat, and this was definitely one of those times. Almost.
The evening continued on the dance floor, where you could find the couple and their guests enjoying laughs and impressive dance moves to a mix of motown and soul. It was a special day and we were so happy to be a part of the love and joy of all who took part. Working with Roxanne + Cameron to bring their vibrant vintage design dreams to life was such a pleasure. The end result was a stunning blend of dynamic style and warmth, the perfect expression of their love. Big thanks to Sylvie the Camera for capturing every memorable moment!
