A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Green Building

When it comes to events we love being inspired by the greats! In this case, the master of love and poetry himself, William Shakespeare and A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Alex and Nancy wanted a wedding that was inspired and romantic, and we worked to make their wedding dreams come true.  They loved the warmth and character found in the bricks and beams of the Green Building.  It was the perfect location for us to build upon the natural charm in order to create a day inspired by the romance and mysticism of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Magic and romance, cupid and fairies, and mystical gardens of abundance reigned in this inspired design.  A story on the nature of love, it is a fitting theme for a beautiful couple and their blossoming life together.

The theme of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was largely illustrated in the floral design.  We partnered with Mimosa Florals to dream up a design that was both abundant and garden-like.  Alex and Nancy said “I do” in front of a gorgeous backdrop of lush plants, wild greenery with soft tendrils floating down, and romantic florals in a range of pinks, reds, and maroons.  This vibe continued in the main space with green tendrils on the tables and hanging down throughout, along with dreamy florals brightening each table.  Real Food Catering delivered tasty treats and a delicious meal to please all the senses.  

Captured by Emma Cleary Photography, it was a gorgeous night where true romance blossomed.  Glad to have experienced it all!
